I spent years working with people navigating loss — pregnancy loss, trauma, and grief that doesn't fit neatly into a sympathy card. My research on perinatal loss has been published in peer-reviewed journals because that type of grief deserves a therapist who has specialized knowledge, rather than just someone who has witnessed it. Throughout my journey, I encountered many capable, accomplished women who often felt exhausted and quietly questioned why everything seemed harder than it appeared from the outside.
In my practice, I also provide support to clients dealing with chronic illness — conditions like POTS, fibromyalgia, and Ehlers-Danlos — particularly when these intersect with issues such as late autism or ADHD diagnoses. This overlap is significant and often overlooked during typical therapy intakes.
I'm not here to fix you; rather, I practice collaborative therapy to help you pause the performance long enough to discover your true self.
I genuinely understand that feeling of uncertainty. I know what it’s like to be the one everyone relies on, to rehearse conversations beforehand, and to return home from an ordinary day feeling as if you've just run a marathon that no one else can see. I also recognize that naming your experiences — whether it's autism or ADHD, or simply realizing 'I've been masking my whole life' — doesn’t always simplify things. Sometimes, it unearths grief you didn't realize you were holding onto. My approach aims to create a safe space for this exploration.
